How does one consider skill or expertise in teaching?

How do students negotiate disciplines and interdisciplinarity as they work across their degrees?

How might we consider the role of community (circles, bees, forums), alongside growing micro-capitalism (Etsy.com) and self teaching (YouTube)  on pedagogical practices?
